This is probably the greatest obstacle to transformation in most companies. But it's also one that leading companies can address more easily than you'd think. First, there are major, time-consuming tasks that can be outsourced to specialists in those areas. For example, should every enterprise-level company have a staff simply to operate the datacenter? No, the IT staff needs to focus on innovation and farm that work out to specialists who do nothing but running datacenters. If you take that burden off an IT team, suddenly they have time for other things. So let's get the engineers out of that air-conditioned on-prem datacenter and onto the business floor where they can put their talents to work.

Couldn't agree more that if a business is able to properly allocate it's employees and their talents, that organization will become much more successful and innovative within their business sector.
